My friend, Wendy, has gotten really good at keeping up a blog and it's so much fun to read and steal bargain and deal ideas from her... I, on the other hand, have SUCKED it up getting my blog really to become a HABIT! I continue to meal plan... it's gotten to be the ONLY WAY for me! I LOVE not having the rush at 5:00 to hurry up and think up and gather the items for whatever I think we need to be eating for dinner. THUS... I'm eating healthier AND bringing my overall stress level down a bit! YAY!

Monday: BBQ Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches on Sandwich thins! (YUM), sweet corn, baked potatoes
Tuesday: Crockpot Chicken Stroganoff over wild rice with steamer veggies
Wednesday: Creamy Chicken Italiano over noodles with sweet corn and fresh fruit
Thursday: Pizza Wraps, Baked Chips, fresh fruit (My boys LOVE this meal!)
Friday: Shrimp Pasta, veggie, watermelon
Saturday: We'll be gone to Kinze Picnic most of the day...but Brats and Chips and Melon if we get home.
Sunday: Grilled Cowboy Chicken Grillers, potatoes & onions on the grill, Eat up the rest of that fresh fruit!
I am seriously in love with those 1pt sandwich thins. I just found them week and a half ago at Target. I haven't seen them in the regular grocery store yet, but I am waiting. Lately my few trips to Target have not involved getting groceries. I find I have the best luck with my grocery shopping on Tuesday afternoon (around 2 or 3ish) at HyVee. The new sales start that day and I don't have to fight people. Plus both Waverly and Charles City (I go to this one most often) run AWESOME unadvertised instore sales! I hit the jackpot big time almost every week because they are trying to move inventory before their Saturday shipment!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could make a meal plan like yours. You rock-much more creative than me. If you like stroganoff try that crockpot one I made last week-WONDERFUL and a great freezer meal.
Yours doesn't really look any different than mine!! LOL
